Frequently Asked Questions

What if I have Allergies or I am on Medication?

Inform your Esthetician about any allergies or medications you have or take. This will allow them to determine what products to use for your facial. If you are using any medications or skincare products with Keratolytic, such as ( Retin-A, Differin, Accutane, ect) inform your Esthetician before hand.

What kind of products do you use in your facials?
I use products lines such as Dr. Alkaitis , Circadia, Sensible, and DPC because they are made for sensitive skin and most are organic.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for my facial?
. Please try to remove any makeup before hand due to time restrictions in your appointment.
. Please arrive a few minutes early.
. Please silence your cell phone. We try to make your facial a truly relaxing treatment and interruptions
make it difficult for us to do so.
What do I need to do after my facial?
. Try to stay out of the sun for at least 24-48 hours after.
. Don't use any facial products for the first 48 hours due to reaction that may occur.
. Its best to wait 24 hours after your facial before exercising
. Do not use any topical medications, Retinols, or Retin-A on your face for 24 hours.
. Do not attend any steam saunas or steam showers for 24-48 hours after your facial.
How Often should you get a facial?

Every 2to 4 weeks is best for most people. Depending on what type of treatment you have done times may vary. You should always consult with your Esthetician in order to determine the amount best for you.

What can I expect during a facial treatment?

How can I maintain skincare results at home on a daily basis?

Your Esthetician should inform you on how to maintain your skin and have long term benefits. One should try to fit in at least one facial per month. a combination of consistent facials and a skincare regiment would have the best long term affects.
